Lights cleaned and tested & the battery compartment was also cleaned, and is free of corrosion. Front wheels also cleaned, and very easily to turn wheels left or right with no stiffness. Bottom of car was cleaned for rust and dirt, motor also cleaned and free of debris to ensure smooth functionality during use. There is a minor amount of Patina to the tin, it took a lot of scrubbing to remove the rust, but it compliments the car and it age now, rather than detracting from the overall look. This was done while they were not attached to the car, to ensure no damage to the existing paintwork. ![]() All tin accents were rust treated and then chromed to bring back factory shine. Please note if you ever decide to clean internal tin, it is a lot more susceptible to damage, so be very gentle. They were delicately cleaned, and came up very well, like new! Internal seat element was gently cleaned, and looks like new. Windows were removed, and gently cleaned, these are completely stock, not after market. Restoration Car was completely deconstruction, all the tin accents were carefully removed from the car so that the body could be completely cleaned inside and out. Number Plate - Some minor paint damage occurred, while trying to remove staining from it, but it's back to it's original yellow and the lettering is still very good. Happy for you to send me a message, and I can also supply these for you, I have kept them filed on my PC. I have a photo showing where the wires connect, I would suggest saving it when you purchase to keep a record. I chose to leave the headlights disconnected, to make it easier for the person who buys this to fix it. I also carefully removed the wires from the headlines, to allow me to properly clean the car, and also clean the internal mechanisms of dust and debris. However, I have photographed the lights working, please see images. I can confirm the wheels spun, I couldn't photograph this. To test the lights, I touched the conductor piece coming from the battery pack to the different elements to test the were working. Looking online I found that the car is missing a little tin lever to turn it on and off, but I do not have the knowledge or tools to make a custom piece, nor would I know how to connect it to the wires, and I did not want to ruin the electronics trying to figure it out. As I am more of a toy collector, I only have very basic knowledge of electronics. Lights - The lights are all tested and working. This has been cleaned off and has some minor paint scratches through it from where the rust was removed. Rear Spare Tire - The "spare tire" at the rear of the vehicle had some minor rusting. A part from a few minor paint scratches, this piece is in fantastic condition. Notable Defects Car Body - This is by far one of the best condition cars I have ever found, there is no visual rust anywhere on the cars body. It is missing the tin on/off lever, please see below in defects for full details. This toy was designed specifically to bump in to things, and then the wheels would change directions. The best feature about this car though? IT LIGHTS UP! The electronics have been tested, and are still working after all these years, with all the globes in tack, as is the drive wheel. It all features a tin "spare tire" on the back of the car. It includes a tin detailed interior, with tin steering wheel.
